Maine’s CPG is
a diverse group of people from
all walks of life representing the face of the
HIV epidemic in our State. The CPG includes
up to 15 community members and an appointed
ME CDC
Co-Chair. The community members represent the following
prioritized populations:
- People Living
with HIV/AIDS
- Males who
have Unsafe Sex with Males
- Injection
Drug Users who Share Needles and Injection Equipment
- Heterosexual
Females who have Unsafe Sex
The group was
established in 1994 and is required and funded by the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The CPG is
committed to working together to address the HIV prevention
needs of Maine.
