The
purpose of the Maine HIV Prevention Community
Planning Group (CPG) is to review data about what is happening
with the HIV epidemic in Maine, set prevention priorities and
choose interventions that are included in the State of Maine Comprehensive
HIV Prevention Plan. This HIV Prevention Plan advises the
ME CDC’s HIV/STD Program on HIV
prevention planning for people who are at
increased risk for HIV infection.
Community
Planning is an ongoing process in
which members participate in developing a
Plan that seeks to improve the effectiveness of
federally funded HIV prevention programs
in Maine.
